Los Angeles International Airport and is also known by the acronym LAX is the largest and busiest airport in the Los Angeles area as well as the State of California. Los Angeles International Airport is located 16 miles west of the city centre.
The airport is owned and managed by Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) this is the gate of the United States to Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Oceania, as well as the main gate to the Pacific Rim.
