Tokyo Haneda International Airport is one of two airports in Tokyo, Japan. The airport is located in Ota, Tokyo, 14 km south of Tokyo station. Tokyo Haneda International Airport name is more popular than Tokyo International Airport. In addition to that in Tokyo, also there's one airport again named Narita International Airport.
Tokyo Haneda International Airport handles nearly all flights to and from Tokyo, Tokyo while Narita International Airport handles the majority of international flights. In 2010, the international terminal was opened at Tokyo Haneda International Airport coincided with the completion of the construction of a fourth runway.
Tokyo Haneda International Airport caters to 72.8 million passengers in the year 2014, making it the second busiest airport in Asia and the fourth-busiest airport in the world. Japan Airlines, All Nippon Airways, Skymark Airlines, Skynet Asia Airways Do and use the Tokyo International Airport as a hub. In total, there are approximately 35 airlines providing flight service between Tokyo Haneda International Airport and various destinations in Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America.
Tokyo Haneda International Airport has four runways and three passenger terminals. Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 is the main terminal and serve all domestic flights, while the International Terminal-which is connected to terminals 1 and 2 via a free shuttle bus serves the entire-international flights.
